Lonnie Marick is arrested on multiple charges
WAITSBURG - On the morning of Feb. 24, the Columbia County Sheriff's Office and the Walla Walla County Sheriff's Office executed a search warrant at 705 E. Maple St., in Waitsburg, resulting in the arrest of Lonnie Marick, 39, of Waitsburg.
According to a Columbia County Sheriff's Office press release, the search recovered numerous stolen items including: handtools, camping equipment, new and used tires, a door, lumber, vehicle parts, a battery charger, power tools, and plywood.
Marick was arrested on charges of Theft in the first degree, a Class B felony, Residential Burglary, a Class C felony, Possession of Stolen Property in the first degree, a Class B felony, and Malicious Mischief in the second degree, a Class C felony.
In addition to the Columbia County charges, Marick will be facing Violation of Uniform Controlled Substances Act - Possession of Methamphetamine charges from Walla Walla County.
Marrick was already facing prosecution in Columbia County for possession of methamphetamine and criminal trespassing in the second degree. Those charges stem from an incident in October of 2015 when Marick was allegedly discovered with a vehicle and boat in a field across from Wing-Air. A wallet containing $2883 in cash, tools, and a methamphetamine pipe were allegedly found at the scene.
