Dayton softball has big day as they take district title over DeSales in 8-innings, 3-2

WALLA WALLA – Dayton was crowned the District 9 2B softball champions on Friday, as they beat league rivals Asotin and DeSales in closely contested games.
Dayton's offense during the first game against Asotin saw seven different Bulldogs record hits to support a stellar performance from junior pitcher Savannah McFarland, who threw a no-hitter against the Panthers. McFarland had 11 strikeouts in her no-hit bid, as the Lady Bulldogs scored a run in the first two innings followed by a two-run third inning to put the Panthers away.
