CLARKSTON – Waitsburg senior Emily Adams picked up her first win of the cross-country season in her first meet here on Sept. 10.
At the Southeast 1B Chief Timothy Park race, Adams ran a personal best 17:26 over the 2.6-mile course.
“Emily Adams had a beautiful race…taking the lead in the last 1/4 mile,” said coach Ann Adams.
On the boys’ side, Landon Callas took 11th, with a time of 15:29, also a personal record over the 2.6-mile distance.
“Landon Callas had a great first out,” Coach Adams said.
