GRANGER – The Waitsburg boys’ basketball team notched a big win in the first outing of the season, beating Cle Elum/Roslyn, 57-33.
The Cardinals jumped out to an early lead they never relinquished. At one point they led by a margin on 30 points.
For the game, Waitsburg senior Jacob Dunn scored 18 points, including three three-point shots. Kyle Gradwohl added 15 points. Jordan French scored nine points on three treys. Gradwohl also had 11 rebounds, while Dunn pulled down 10.
