Veterans Relief Board Opening

WALLA WALLA – Walla Walla County is looking to fill five spots on the Veteran’s Relief Advisory Board (VRAB). The board coordinates with the County Dept. of Human Services and advises county commissioners on the needs of local indigent veterans and the resources and programs available to indigent veterans and their families.

Applicants must reside in Walla Walla County and be veterans from either local branches of nationally recognized veterans’ service organizations or the veterans’ community at large. Members should be able to attend one morning meeting per month, usually the second Wednesday of the month. Terms run for three years.
