Arraignments

- Marshall Hernandez, 56, Dayton; charged with first degree burglary and assault in the second degree – strangulation. Charges stem from an incident on Oct. 29 in which Hernandez is accused of kicking open the door of a home and accusing a woman of taking his hair conditioner. He allegedly became enraged and pushed and strangled the victim. Hernandez reportedly told officers he suffers from blackouts when stressed and may have blacked out during the incident. He entered a plea of not guilty. Omnibus and trial setting are scheduled for Dec. 21.

- Richard D Streck III, 41, transient; charged with one count of identity theft in the second degree, and one count of obstructing a law enforcement officer. He entered not guilty pleas to both charges.

Sentencing/Plea Agreements

- Christopher James Martin, 32, Kennewick; charged with one count of violation of controlled substances act – possession of methamphetamine and one count of violation of controlled substances act – possession of Quetiapine (Seroquel). He accepted a plea agreement in which the second charge was dismissed in exchange for a guilty plea to the first charge.

- Donovan S. Bray, 25, homeless; charged with possession of morphine and use of drug paraphernalia in an incident that occurred in July. In exchange for a guilty plea, Bray received a two year stay of prosecution and the charges will be dismissed if he complies with conditions that include completion of a drug treatment program and no further legal violations during that time. He must also pay $1,680 in victim assessment and fees.

Trials Set

- Casey J. Lynn Dunn, 23, address unknown; charged with one count of possession of a controlled substance other than marijuana, and one count of possession of stolen property. She failed to appear for her pre-trial hearing and a bench warrant was issued. The warrant was served on Dunn in Nez Perce County Jail in Lewiston, Ida. Defense requested a continuance, which was granted. Trial re-set or resolution is scheduled for Dec. 21.

Other

-Kyle R. Jamerson, 32, homeless; charged with possession of methamphetamine, violation of order of protection from civil harassment and contempt of court for allegedly trespassing on property he had been trespassed from. Jamerson is in drug and alcohol treatment and was excused from appearing. A status hearing was set for March 1.
