Rivers swelled, but there was no significant flooding as feared, last week. Foot thick "icebergs" blocked Coppei Creek and found a home in the pasture owned by Kyle and Margaret Terry on the south end of Waitsburg. The icebergs looked even more out of place once the water receeded. See photo on Page 5.
