WALLA WALLA COUNTY – Walla Walla County Commissioners are announcing an opening on the Walla Walla County Rural Library Baord of Trustees, to final unexpired term, as member Andrea Berglin has submitted her resignation. The term will expire Jan. 1, 2019.
The board determines the mission and basic policies for the library and is responsible for care and supervision of all the library property. It has exclusive control of the finances and must submit an annual budget for the purpose of levying taxes for the library district. Board meeting and travel costs and expenses are reimbursable pursuant to board bylaws.

The board meets the second Monday of each month from 5-7 p.m. Applications may be obtained at http://www.co.walla-walla.wa.us or at the commisioner’s office (314 W. Main, Room 203, Walla Walla). Completed applications must be returned to the commissioners’ office by 5 p.m. on Fri., June 16 via mail, fax, or emailed.
