DAYTON – Washington State Department of Agriculture staff will offer a workshop titled “Strengthening Your Small Scale Value-Added Food, Farm, or Food Processing Business” on Mon., Jan. 29 at the Blue Mountain Co-op Market (700 Artisan Way) at 5:30 p.m.
Participants will learn about different food processing licenses and permits, receive a copy of the WSDA Handbook for Small and Direct Marketing Farms, will have the opportunity to ask questions of a food safety inspector, and see inside a licensed production kitchen at the Blue Mountain Station.
