Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
Clinton D. Donley, age 68, died March 21, 2018 at his home in Burbank, Washington. Clint was the epitome of a hard worker and was considered a jack-of-all-trades, working in auto body repair, carpentry and general contracting. However, most people knew him as a salesman, where over the years, he ran several local lumber yards, sold cars, and worked as a regional sales representative for hardware and automotive companies. This is where Clint truly excelled and was revered for his outgoing personality and ability to make lasting friendships wherever he went. He always had a way of telling a joke or funny story to connect with people.
Clint is also remembered by family, friends and fans as a great rock singer. He released two 45 rpm singles when he was in high school and continued singing with groups throughout the northwest until his final performance in Spokane, Washington several years ago.
Clint is survived by his adoring wife of 47 years, Jaklin; daughter Colleen Brazell; son and daughter-in-law Clint and Laura Donley; grandchildren Chelsie Bales, Clint Donley, Julia Donley, Madelynn Donley, Cassandra Brazell, Lucas Brazell; great granddaughter Alice Clayton; brother and sister-in-law William and Linda Donley; sisters Frances Donley, Judith Annabel; aunts Beatrice Avery, Bess Porterfield; father-in-law Delbert Mock; and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews and in-laws.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Clinton and Vivione Donley, sister (and best friend) Delores Jones, mother-in-law Louise Mock, and sister-in-law Debra Williams.
A Celebration of Life will be held for family and friends at 1:30 p.m. on April 2 at the Best Western, 2811 N 20th Ave, Pasco, Washington. A private family interment was held at the Waitsburg City Cemetery.
