BURBANK – The Dayton softball team took advantage of a 10-run fourth inning to rack up a big win against Burbank on March 22.
The Lady Bulldogs jumped to an 11-1 lead after two innings, before exploding in the fourth. The game was called after four innings on the mercy rule.
Scully Castorena had four hits for Dayton, and Ariel Sandau added three.

DAYTON – On March 20, the Dayton softball team hosted Riverside High of Boardman, Ore., and took the victory, 7-4.
The Lady Bulldogs took 3-0 lead after five innings, before Riverside jumped ahead 4-3 in the top of the sixth. Dayton got four runs of their own in the bottom of that frame and held on for the win.
Sadie Seney’s three-run triple in the sixth was the highlight of the game.
The Lady Bulldogs were to travel to Colton on Wednesday. They host Pomeroy on Friday, and then travel to Mabton for a double-header Saturday.
