Honoring Those Who Served

Veterans were honored for their service in Waitsburg and Dayton during Memorial Day activities on Monday Morning. In this photo, Waitsburg graduating senior Ariel Sandau spoke about what it means to be an American during the Memorial Day program at the Waitsburg City Cemetery.

The color guard from Dayton's American Legion Post held rifles at the ready in the Dayton City Cemetery, while a bugler played taps to honor local former soldiers who have recently passed.
