Teeny McMunn count
Times Advertising Manager Teeny McMunn found this painted rock right outside The Times' office on one of the sacks of wheat in the famous "Waitsburg Trilogy" statue. It originated in Linn County, Ore., and appeared mysteriously in Waitsburg. Many cities, including Waitsburg and Dayton, have joined the painted rock fan club. Rocks are painted, with the origin on the back, and hidden (often in plain sight). The lucky person who finds a rock can keep it or re-hide it for others to find. Some, like this one, travel a long distance. This one will be kept and treasured, according to Teeny.
