Last week, The Times incorrectly reported that Eric Watrud, the new Umatilla National Forest Service Supervisor is replacing Monte Fujishin. Watrud is actually replacing outgoing Forest Supervisor Genevieve Masters. Fujishin is the District Ranger in the Pomeroy Ranger District, and he is not retiring.
