Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
Dear Editor,
I have known Dain Nysoe and his family since we were classmates in grade school. Since then, he has served his country and this community for many years, always willing to listen and to do what is best and necessary. Nysoe knows the issues facing this region. He understands the need to plan for the future while respecting the past, and he deeply cares about the land and the people. He knows how to work with both the City and the County government to solve problems and to create opportunities for the community.
Being a County Commissioner is not a glamorous job. It requires hard work and an understanding of complex government financing and the issues impacting this community, whether they be infrastructure, like roads, bridges and the fairgrounds, or community services, like mental health and substance abuse. Dain’s experience of working and managing a large ranch, serving in both county and city governments and having a master’s degree in public administration, makes him a highly qualified candidate for the Commissioner job.
Dain Nysoe, through his service on Dayton City Council and his active campaigning, has shown that he is willing to do the work that needs to be done. I highly recommend Dain Nysoe for Columbia County Commissioner. I know he will continue to work hard for our community once elected. He is honest, diligent and caring. He deserves your support.
