Jaklin K. Donley, age 65, died September 28, 2018 at the Hospice House in Kennewick, WA.
Jaklin had various occupations over the years, most notably as a records clerk for the Benton-Franklin Health District. A loving wife, mother, and grandmother, Jaklin was a remarkable homemaker and enjoyed cooking, baking, and making candy for her family and friends. Jaklin adored children and in particular loved taking care of babies. She also enjoyed sketching, painting, gardening, travel, and watching old movies.
Jaklin is survived by her step-father; Delbert Mock, children; Colleen Donley, Clint and Laura Donley, grandchildren; Chelsie Bales, Clint Donley, Julia Donley, Madelynn Donley, Cassandra Brazell, Lucas Brazell, great granddaughter; Alice Clayton, siblings; Rod and Julie Lingle, Jan and Stan Maston, Tom Mock, Jerry Mock, William and Linda Donley, Frances Donley, Judith Annabel, and many loving cousins, nieces, nephews, and in-laws.
She is preceded in death by her adoring husband; Clinton Donley, parents; Louise Mock and Donald Lingle, sister; Debra Williams, and in-laws; Clinton and Vivione Donley, and Delores Jones.
Services for Jaklin will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at the First Christian Church, 604 Main St, Waitsburg, WA. She will be laid to rest immediately following at the Waitsburg City Cemetery. A reception will be held at 2:30 PM back at the First Christian Church.
Flowers are welcome; memorial donations may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation or the American Heart Association.
