Mass Band/Choir Concert Oct. 24

DAYTON—Dayton High School will host this year’s Mass Band/Choir Concert on Oct. 24 at 6:30 in the high school gym.

Dayton HS Director of Music Scott Sumner said that musicians from eight schools will participate in the concert. They include Saint John Endicott, Prescott, Touchet, Dayton, Kahlotus, Rosalia, Clarkston, Washtucna, Asotin and Garfield-Palouse.

The guest band director will be retired music educator Glenn Mitchell, who has served as music director at both Dayton and Walla Walla High Schools. The guest choir director will be Julie Jones, who is the Vocal Music Director at Walla Walla Community College.

Tickets are available at the door. Cost is $5 for adults, $3 for students and seniors, and $10 for families.
