DW Girls fall to Mabton, 69-22

DAYTON – The first quarter was a rough one for DW as they had no answer for Mabton's relentless full court press, in Saturday's home court league match.

Tatum Laughery (#12) opened the scoring for DW in the second quarter, fouled on a shot in the lane, and completed the three-point play sinking her free throw. Mackenzie Forney (#50) sinks both her free throws in the second quarter.

"Mabton is a very good team. They beat us on both ends of the court. We worked hard for most of the game, but we just couldn't compete with them. We are 2-12 and head to Touchet for a non-conference match up on Tuesday," said Assistant Coach Desirae Jones
