Mabton drops DW JV girls, 26-54

Although the JV girls cut the lead to 14-18 by halftime, the full court press and defense by Mabton proved to be too much.

“We just got out hustled in the 2nd half. We played a really good 1st half,” said Assistant Coach Desirae Jones.

Megan Forney (#10) sinks both free throws scoring DW’s first points of the game. Jurnee Griffin (#13) started off the second quarter of with a jump shot and the third quarter off with a layup.
