DAYTON – Turnovers that led to several fast break points turned out to be the DW JV boys' undoing in a Jan. 18 home match against Liberty Christian. The boys had closed to score to 22- 25 then Liberty Christian went on an 11 – 1 run pushing the lead back to 23 – 36 before taking the win 35-32.
Highlights- #12 Chris Fulbright gets DW on the board in the first quarter with a layup from the left side. #20 Colton Vanblaricom hits a nice turnaround jump shot to close out the scoring in the first. In the 2nd quarter #14 Damian Johnson drives the lane and scores. Later in the quarter Colton steals the ball and makes a nice pass to Damian for the layup cutting the score to 9 – 13.
