WALLA WALLA-Providence St. Mary Medical Center has donated $15,000 to the Blue Mountain Action Council (BMAC) for its new Community Service Center.
BMAC has purchased an 11,000-square-foot building on Second Ave. which will be remodeled to be used as the new service center. The current offices are located in a building at 1520 Kelly place, which is expected to be sold in the next few years, according to a Providence media release.

Providence funding was through its Mission Committee which directs donations targeted at improving the health of the community with an emphases on improving immunization rates, aiding youth at risk and addressing homelessness.
