Gesa Theater to screen Stories of our Watersheds: River Restoration Northwest Film Festival

WALLA WALLA—River Restoration Northwest, Kooskooskie Commons, and the Snake River Salmon Recovery Board present Stories of our Watersheds: River Restoration Northwest Film Festival at Gesa Power House Theatre on Thursday, March 5 at 7:00 p.m.

The Walla Walla, Touchet and Tucannon basins are home to iconic salmon and steelhead runs in the mid-Columbia River. These basins are currently undergoing large-scale river restoration efforts that impact our community and lifestyle.

The 6th Annual River Restoration Northwest short film series “Stories of Our Watersheds” includes a selection of 2019 films about rivers and watersheds from across the forests of the Pacific Northwest to the shrimp that improve water quality in Puerto Rico. The evening provides entertaining, educational, and inspiring stories of river restoration efforts across the United States.

River restoration efforts by local organizations will also be displayed in the lobby, with local experts to meet and talk to.

Reserved seating tickets ($10 in advance, $12 at the door) are available online (www.phtww.com) or by calling the box office at 509-529-6500.
