Alaskan Nets showing on March 19

WAITSBURG—Join the Waitsburg High School ASB and the Class of 2023 for a screening of Alaskan Nets on March 19.

Alaskan Nets, is a documentary that focuses on the Metlakatla Chiefs basketball team from the small community of Metlakatla, Alaska, and former Waitsburg-Prescott Coach T.J Scott. The film debuted at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival in 2021, where it won the Audience Choice Award.

The Class of 2023 will be hosting a hamburger feed during the event to raise funds for their prom.
