Doug Hinds helping Dayton Elementary School students put their decorations high on the city's Christmas Tree.
WAITSBURG-On Monday, November 28, Doug Hinds a Pacific Power Lineman, put up Waitsburg's Hometown Christmas banners in preparation for this year's event. Doug has been helping Dayton, and Waitsburg put up streetscape banners for years. Hinds has assisted Dayton and Waitsburg students each holiday season in decorating the tippy tops of the tall downtown Christmas trees.
He is retiring on November 30, and The Times wishes him the best in his new adventure.
