A stunning float made its way down Main Street for Waitsburg's Hometown Christmas Parade. Charles Stranger created this 1,200 pound, 45 foot, human powered float to celebrate the joys of biking. The tall float used lights to form a giant bicycle. As it made its way down Main Street, it was circled by enthusiastic riders on lighted two wheelers.

Beka Compton carried the flag in the parade on her crowd saavy horse, Moose. Compton was the last Days of of Real Sport Queen in 2011.

The Grinch tried to take over Santa's job on Saturday. He spent a few hours with the folks at Ten Ton Coffee, making himself at home on Santas chair. Waitsburg melted his cold little heart just a bit before he went home to Whoville.
