Animal Christmas to benefit Blue Mountain Humane Society

WAITSBURG—The Waitsburg High School National Honor Society members are accepting donations for the Blue Mountain Humane Society in Walla Walla this Christmas season. Advisor Liv Leid states that this is the first year of the Animal Christmas event.

The NHS members appreciate the students and community for donating Purina One pet food, blankets, toys, pill pockets, leashes, and treats. The collection boxes are at the Waitsburg Grocery, Ten Ton Coffee, Waitsburg High School, Preston Hall, and the elementary school building.

The collection boxes will be picked up on December 20 and delivered to the BMHS before Christmas.
