DW COMBINE—DW beat Walla Walla Valley Academy in both games of a doubleheader at WWVA on Tuesday, April 18. WWVA was limited to two hits in the first game and one hit in the second game as the Wolfpack pitchers, Levi Boudrieau and Jasper Morrow, shut down their opponent.
In game one, Boudrieau walked two and struck out nine in the game that ended in the fifth inning per the mercy rule. The Wolfpack had twelve hits and won 12-1.
Klint Kuykendall had three hits and three RBIs to lead the offense. Cyson Morris, Jared Hankins, Will Durham, and Morrow each had two hits. Isaias Reyes had one hit.
The second game ended after five innings, with the Wolfpack winning 22-0. Morrow pitched the one-hit game, walking two and striking out ten.
Reyes was three-for-three at the plate with one home run and seven RBIs. Kuykendall, Hankins, and Zach Durham each had two hits. Boudrieau, Morrow, and Colton Steinhoff each had one hit.
