At the Liberty: "Book Club: The Next Chapter"

DAYTON–“Book Club: The Next Chapter” is the sequel that follows four best friends as they take their book club to Italy for the fun girls trip they never had. When things go off the rails and secrets are revealed, their relaxing vacation turns into a once-in-a-lifetime cross-country adventure. The cast includes Jane Fonda, Diane Keaton, Candice Bergen, Mary Steenburgen, Andy Garcia, Giancarlo Giannini, Don Johnson, and Craig T. Nelson.

The Rotten Tomatoes website critics did not care for this movie, as they rated it as 47% favorable, but audiences disagreed and rated it 84%. The audience summary review was “Even if its story isn’t anything special, Book Club: The Next Chapter is a fun, easy watch with a terrific cast.” It is rated PG-13 for some strong language and suggestive material. Runtime is 107 minutes.

The Liberty Theater balcony (Rows 3-6) remain closed for construction, although balcony Rows 1 and 2 may reopen soon.
