WALLA WALLA COMMUNITY HOSPICE OFFERS HOLIDAY GRIEF SUPPORT

WALLA WALLA — Sometimes, the holidays are not the most wonderful time of the year, especially if you are grieving. The holidays can be challenging for people who have experienced the death of someone they love. Memories of past holiday seasons can be a reminder of loss. Moreover, it can be challenging for others to know what to say to the bereaved or how to support them.

Walla Walla Community Hospice (WWCH) invites community members to one of two holiday grief support classes offered in-person and virtually at Walla Walla Community Hospice (WWCH) in November. The Hospice Bereavement Team will facilitate the workshop, consisting of staff social workers and spiritual support counselors. Participants can expect thoughtful discussion and to learn strategies that may help them throughout the season. The classes will be held at Walla Walla Community Hospice, 1067 Issacs Ave, Walla Walla.

Attendees need not be family members of a current or former hospice patient, and as always, there is no charge for WWCH’s grief support programs.

Workshop date and time options include an afternoon Sunday class on November 5 from 2:00–4:00 p.m. and a mid-day Wednesday class on November 15 from 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m.

WWCH requests that attendees RSVP ahead of time to share the Zoom meeting link and other resources. To RSVP, visit wwhospice.org/griefsupport
