Waitsburg Class of 2024

WAITSBURG - It's almost the end of the school year and Waitsburg is preparing to celebrate the school district's graduates. "The Times" will share the senior's stories, a few each issue, until Graduation Day on June 7, 2024.

Blake French

Blake French is the president of Waitsburg High School ASB.  He has been a captain on the school's football and basketball teams and participates in track and field.

French has been at Waitsburg Schools since the fourth grade, attends WHS full-time, and keeps busy with sports, FFA, and his ASB presidential duties.

Basketball is his passion. His favorite memories of high school are playing summer basketball and playing at State Basketball in his junior year.

French plans to play AAU (Amateur Athletic Union) basketball for the A1 Elite team in Vancouver, Wash this summer. He plans to play college basketball.

Ben Gascon began school at Waitsburg in third grade.  He played basketball in middle school.

He attends Waitsburg High School full-time and plans to get a good-paying job after graduation.

One of Gascon's favorite school memories is from around the fourth or sixth grades when breakfast was served during the summer.

Kylee Henry

Kylee Henry has been a Cardinal since pre-school and attends WHS full-time. She has been active in volleyball and softball.  She is in FFA and is a member of Sources of Strength. Henry and Peyton Struckmeier are 2024 Waitsburg Celebration Day Hostesses.

Henry plans to attend Washington State University to study physical therapy in her goal to be an athletic trainer.

Her senior year homecoming field night is her favorite memory.
