HASA raises $4,000 at Carnival

WAITSBURG – The Home and School Association carnival was successful, and around $ 4,000 was raised to purchase school supplies for Waitsburg Schools students.

It was a lovely, warm Friday evening where over 140 kids enjoyed games thanks to the numerous volunteers who donated time. Kids played games for tickets and then traded tickets for prizes.

Pizza, hotdogs, popcorn, and sno-cones were available for purchase, along with silent auction items to bid on. Cash Grende was the top bidder for the unique silent auction item, "Principal for a Day."
