Cierra Schafer is committed to establishing a farmers market in Waitsburg. High winds on opening day threatened to turn tents into kites but did not dampen vendor enthusiasm.
Cierra Schafer, owner of Red Bird Blooms, had help holding down her tent during the first Saturday of the Waitsburg Farmers Market. The next market is Saturday, June 29 at Preston Park.
