First annual youth music festival at Waitsburg Fairgrounds

WAITSBURG - This Friday's Jam has been moved to Saturday, August 24, at the first annual RYES Rhythm & Fun Festival. The event will be at the Waitsburg Fairgrounds from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. There will be games, food, and, of course, music.

Fiddle and banjo contests, a band scramble, and a youth festival with The Jasper Mountain Opry start at 4 p.m.

The Mythical / Movable Blue Mountain Bluegrass Jam will start at 6 p.m. All ages and players are welcome to join.

At 7 p.m., the following bands will take the stage until nine:
