Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley

Touchet Valley Aquacize wraps up another season

PRESCOTT - Exercise enthusiasts from three communities, with different fitness levels, and experience, bonded during aquacize sessions at Prescott Pool over the summer.

"Aquacize is such an amazing activity," said group leader Carol Anderson. Anderson brought her 20 years of experience to keep the group moving for an hour of fun exercises. She said she enjoys seeing the group become friends.

There were between fifteen and twenty-two participants from Dayton, Waitsburg, and Prescott. The group's age ranged from early forties to late eighties. Everyone laughed, supported each other, and became friends.

The water feels great and the highlight of the hour is joke time.  Leah Stockton has a brilliant mind and has the best jokes.  She doesn't remember how she got started telling jokes but she remembers short jokes and long jokes and tells each with the right deliverance.

The group celebrated the end of the season with a lunch at Prescott's Tuxedo Grill on August 24.
