Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
WAITSBURG-The Waitsburg Booster Club hosted its 2nd annual "Cardinal Kickoff" on Tuesday, September 3. The free event, held at the elementary school's multi-purpose room, helped kick off the 2024 sports season and offered hamburgers, hotdogs, chips, drinks, and cookies for the athletes, parents, and community members.
Walla Walla DJ David Long provided the music and emcee duties. Long announced the members of the cheer squads, high school volleyball girls, and middle school and high school football teams.
Booster Club President Ross Hamann and his crew sold Cardinal memorabilia throughout the evening. Get your #1 foam finger, t-shirt, yard sign, and sticker at home games.
