Serving Waitsburg, Dayton and the Touchet Valley
Walla Walla — The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce is hosting a Newcomers Meetup at the Chamber’s office at 29 E. Sumach Street in Walla Walla on Saturday, November 16, from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m.
The WWCC offers the event to provide new residents of the Walla Walla Valley access to resources, connections, and insights into local opportunities, allowing participants to explore volunteer roles, learn more about community organizations, and make meaningful new connections.
“At the last meetup, connections sparked friendships, job leads, and volunteer matches for many in attendance. With coffee, snacks, and goodie bags for all, this free event is a valuable way to discover the valley and its people,” from a Chamber press release to “The Times.”
Columbia REA will sponsor the free event and invites new Walla Walla Valley residents. There is no fee to attend, and registration is recommended at http://www.wwvchamber.com/events.
The Walla Walla Valley Chamber of Commerce is a membership-based organization focused on “Building the next generation of business and workforce for the Walla Walla Valley.” For more information about the organization, visit http://www.wwvchamber.com.
