MaryKay Hartley

MaryKay Hartley, age 71, passed away October 3, 2024, in Springfield, MO. MaryKay was born January 11, 1953 to Magdeline and Albert McFarley in Ft. Belvoir, Virginia. She joined three older brothers, Jack, Kelley, and Kevin.

The military family moved frequently, living on the East Coast, California, and Japan before settling in Walla Walla, Washington. MaryKay graduated from Walla Walla High School in 1971 and WSU in 1975 with a degree in Anthropology.

She moved to California after college, working as a paralegal. MaryKay married Michael Hartley; they later divorced. She moved to Missouri, where she experienced multiple health problems over the past 20 years.

MaryKay was preceded in death by her father in 1979 and her mother in 1993. MaryKay is survived by her brothers - Jack and Kelley of Walla Walla and Kevin of Bogota, Columbia. A memorial will be announced at a later date.
