Times rides again

WAITSBURG — The decision to suspend the printed publication of “The Times” has been suspended. “The Times” received an anonymous donation to cover the cost of print production for the paper over the next few months. In that time, the paper will transition to a nonprofit organization.

In reorganizing as a nonprofit, the new organization will form a board and file for a 501(c)(3 ) status with the IRS. The board will work with a local fiscal sponsor to begin raising funds for the paper’s operation as it waits an estimated three to eight months for IRS approval.
