Auxiliary shares donations with Friends of the Waitsburg pool

WAITSBURG — The American Legion Auxiliary in Waitsburg held a Family Fun Bingo event at the Town Hall on March 2. The fundraising event raised money for the auxiliary’s activities to support veterans and their families. Since a municipal pool in Waitsburg would benefit all families, the auxiliary gave $400 to the Friends of the Waitsburg Pool.

Auxiliary President Rose Englebright said they hope to make Family Fun Bingo an annual spring event that honors former teachers, administrators, and maintenance personnel from Waitsburg and Prescott School Districts. Past merchants and business owners were also remembered.

Each game was sponsored by a family member who honored someone

In December, the organization honors veterans at its Christmas Bingo fundraiser.
