Cardinal Baseball set for strong season

WAITSBURG - Coach Joe Greer is excited for this upcoming baseball season.

"We have some new young arms that will be beneficial in a defensive standpoint and some hot bats for offense," said Greer.

With Jarod Hankins returning at third base, Rollin Carpenter at first base, and Isa Reyes as a strong utility player, the coach feels confident that his team will perform well this year.

The Cardinals will play a doubleheader against Colton in Waitsburg on March 25, with the first pitch at 2 p.m.

Greer's junior varsity baseball team will play Liberty Christian in Waitsburg on March 26. The doubleheader starts at 2 p.m.
