At the Liberty: "Last Breath"

DAYTON — A heart-pounding film that follows seasoned deep-sea divers as they battle the raging elements to rescue their crewmate trapped hundreds of feet below the ocean’s surface. Based on a true story, “Last Breath” is an electrifying story about teamwork, resilience, and a race against time to do the impossible. The cast includes Woody Harrelson, Simu Liu, and Finn Cole.

Rotten Tomatoes said their critics’ consensus was that the movie ratchets the tension to a riveting degree and tells a remarkable true story with the utmost efficiency and a dependably terrific performance from Woody Harrelson. The critics rated the movie as “fresh” with 80%. The audience said it is a well-acted, great story and shows the bond that develops between people doing dangerous work. The audience gave “Last Breath” a “hot” rating of 92%. The “Last Breath” is rated PG-13 for brief, strong language. It has a runtime of 93 minutes.

On Easter weekend, April 18 – 22, the theater will show “The King of Kings.” A father tells his son the greatest story ever told, and what begins as a bedtime tale becomes a life-changing journey.
