Season opener for Cardinal JV Baseball

WAITSBURG — Waitsburg High School junior varsity baseball team had their first game of the season at Dayton on April 3, losing 16-13 in three innings of baseball.

Ryan Meier started on the mound for the Cardinals, with Richard Finch as catcher.

Highlights for Waitsburg were Bryer Paul with two hits, one RBI, two stolen bases and scoring two runs. Tyler Coulston scored two runs, stole two bases, and had a two-RBI double in the third inning.
