P.E.O. Vintage Fashion Show "The Way We Were

Scholarship funds for women raised on May 3rd fashion show

WALLA WALLA — On May 3, 2025, the P.E.O. Chapter CN will present “The Way We Were,” a vintage fashion show from 2 to 4 p.m. The event will be held at the Walla Walla Country Club to raise funds for the organization’s scholarship programs. Doors will open at 1:30 p.m.

“The Way We Were” will be a blast from the past, showcasing the best vintage fashion from the 60s and 70s,” said the event committee chair Cheryl Hansen. “It’s an opportunity to step back and witness the timeless national and international styles that have influenced modern trends. This event will transport viewers to different fashion eras, from elegant polyester pantsuits to funky 70s disco outfits.”

The Philanthropic Educational Organization is a U.S.-based international women’s organization with nearly 200,000 members and over 5,000 chapters in the United States and Canada. The P.E.O. provides educational opportunities for female students worldwide. The organization was founded in 1869 by seven female students at Iowa Wesleyan University in Mount Pleasant, Iowa. Local chapters, including several in the Walla Walla area, raise funds to support state and international women’s scholarship programs.

Tickets for the fashion show are $35, plus a $4.19 service fee through Eventbrite at https://TheWayWeWereVintageFashionShow.eventbrite.com or by using the QR code on the event poster.

There will be light refreshments during intermission and a “no host” bar for those who wish to purchase wine.
