WAITSBURG — Waitsburg High School track traveled to Pomeroy on April 15 for the District 6 1B SE League meet. The Cardinals competed against athletes from Pomeroy, St. John-Endicott-LaCrosse, Walla Walla Valley Academy, Dayton, and Yakima Nation Tribal School.
“We were able to size up the competition for much of our district,” said Coach Nechodom. “It was also our first time using most of the new throwing implements our generous community allowed us to purchase. Some of the PRs (personal records) were likely assisted by quality equipment.”
